NOTES:

A day means the period between 06:00 and 18:00 hours.

A child under the age of five years shall not pay for entry into any National Park. Children aged between five and thirteen years shall pay 50% of the above rates.

Depending on where you are staying it may be possible to pay all relevant fees at the establishment, so please confirm this and ensure you have details of this in writing to present at the relevant gate.  However, it may well be that the gate insists on payment despite this, so please ensure you have cash to pay at least park fees and vehicle fees for one day to enter the park.

As at the time of writing, no gates provide card payment facilities and there are no ATMs near any of the gates so please do ensure you have enough cash before departing to the park.  It is generally easier to pay the relevant fees in the relevant currency e.g. if you are an international visitor then paying in USD is easier.

The transit routes which comprise the M9 main road through the park as well as the new all weather road from Ngoma to Dundumwezi Gate are recognised as such and you do not need to pay park fees to utilise these roads.

Camping is only allowed at designated campsites.  Wild camping is not allowed anywhere in the Park (or the Game Management Areas).
