The central area is defined by the M9 road to the North and the top of Lake Itezhi Tezhi to the South.  The Western boundary of the Park defines the West of the area.  The Eastern boundary can be described by the D769 road running from the M9 down to Lake Itezhi Tezhi.  The central area contains some very accessible camps around the M9 bridge area but, like the Northeast, there are also some more remote camps within this area.
